Ok, I took a different theme and things are still the same.
BUT
i found out that it must be sth. with the bookings tab.
wenn I use “third party booking” and klick on “open in new tab” (for ticketlink)
I have the problem that is explained above.
when I deactivate “open in new tab”
the event page opens in same tab 

strange…

First of all I deactivated all plugins and the issue is still there.
Second the issue apears only on this particular Website.
Another page Im also running is fine. So I checked/compared the settings and they are equal.
So I’m clueless…
