this is due to the fact, that buddypress decided to retire the buddypress component forums with version 1.7 and onwards. Currently I try to figure out how to fix this problem, as I need to rewrite this part connecting to bbpress and not the buddypress module, but this may need some time…

I’ve just deactivated and deleted the plugin without any problems. Could you be a bit more spezific on your problem as I’m not able to get the error.

In reply to: [JSON-API-for-BuddyPress] Remember to install buddypress completely………As it says in the installation manual, buddypress has to be installed completely.
But I will take a look at it so it gives more explicit warnings when buddypress is not installed completely.
