In reply to: [UseStrict's Calendly Embedder] Updating the pluginActually, I just saw this notice about WP delaying the release to sites in 24 hours.
Version 1.2.1 will be released to sites in about 24 hours. ww.wp.xz.cn currently delays plugin updates by 24 hours so moderators and security scanners can review changes before they reach users. If this update fixes a security issue that needs to ship sooner, contact…- This reply was modified 1 day, 2 hours ago by useStrict.

In reply to: [UseStrict's Calendly Embedder] Updating the pluginHi @tbade,
There was a bug in the version numbering. Please update to 1.2.1 which I’ve just released. Nothing will break.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] 1 forum not sending notificationsHi @hannahm123 ,
Have you updated the plugin to version 3.0.1? There was a bug in 3.0.0 in regards to role-based subscriber loading.
This may be the issue as the original dry-run that you sent me had bb_spectator role being loaded, and the one you pasted now has no role at all. If you did not change the settings, then I assume installing 3.0.1 will fix the issue.
Please keep me posted.
Cheers,
VinnyMy pleasure. Thanks for reporting and confirming the fix.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] We need to convert your bbpnns v1.xHi, I never heard of Influxdb. This message is shown when you have a really really old version of bbpnns installed and then go to version 2.x.
It should be safe to run, but as with any database update that’s this far from the current version, create a backup first. Maybe it’s even safer to just uninstall the plugin via WP Admin > Plugins, so it removes all old data and then install it fresh.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] 1 forum not sending notificationsHi @hannahm123,
I got the dry run, thanks. It looks normal – 75 users are loaded into the recipient list. Can you install an email logging plugin and monitor if the messages are being lost before or after showing up in the email logs?
Also can you run the dry-run with a topic from one of the forums that do send out notifications?

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] 1 forum not sending notificationsHi @hannahm123, thanks for reaching out.
Have you tried using the Dry Run tool found under bbPress Notify (No-Spam) > Settings > Support? Enter a topic or reply from the forum that isn’t sending out notifications. You’ll see plenty of information that may help you understand what is going on.
Feel free to share the output here, if it has no sensitive information, or email it to vinny [at] usestrict [dot] net.

In reply to: [NSFW] [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Send email after new topicHi @vixel ,
I never heard back from @c21support, but nobody else has reported problems. This plugin was created for the sole purpose of notifying admins of new topics and replies. It then grew to notify other users, but the core functionality – admin notification – is still there and working fine.
