@dholovnia it seemed to be the same failure mode as last time. Was on 3.2.0.2 and I pressed the “update” button in wordpress UI, got the “Plugin file does not exist.” error.
Looked inwp-content/pluginsand saw theplugin/directory which contained Windows-style paths again. I deleted it and uploaded 3.2.0.3 downloaded from the site and it works now. This is the same process I had to do for the last version update.@dholovnia this happened again when automatically updating to 3.2.0.3
@dholovnia i can confirm that I fixed this by re-packing the paid ZIP on my linux box so that it uses linux-style paths.
@dholovnia it looks to me like recent plugin versions have released ZIP files which use windows style paths, with backslashes “\” instead of forward-slashes “/” to separate paths, which screws up WP.
@dholovnia I had automatic updates enabled so whatever the previous released version was, presumably 3.2.0.1. I’m paying for it.
This is affecting us right now as well. We installed through wordpress plugin UI and get the “Plugin file does not exist.” error. Removed plugin and tried to install again and it won’t work. Please advise ASAP.
