    Problem found. It consisted of deleting WP JSON pages. Wrote to the developers of the “Clearfy Pro” plugin. I don’t even know which is better: leave WP JSON page deletion enabled or let the “WordPress Popular Posts” plugin function properly. Just after reading about the “potential” of the WordPress JSON REST API, there were doubts about the correctness of this or that solution. By the way, for now I’m leaning towards deleting WP JSON pages.

    Good evening. I tried on another site to consistently install plugins that work on the problem site. It turned out that the conflict was caused by the “Clearfy Pro” plugin. I will look for a setting that interferes with the normal operation of “WordPress Popular Posts”. So far this has not been possible. Thank you for your promptness and participation in solving my problem.
