 * Update:
 * The promo banner, by the way, is placed in the header of my theme. I just realized
   that the thumbnail buttons are not working either. Curiously, when I set the 
   site’s logo (also in the header) to position:absolute, the images in the slider
   disappear, but the thumbnails and the prev button start working again.
 * Any thoughts?
