I believe I’m having a similar problem. I’ve changed the page title and description for Yoast Social to be different from the Yoast SEO title and description. However, I do not see tags for the social meta within the page source.
Debugging for Facebook, X, et al. shows the SEO meta, not the Social meta. They’re all clearly scraping the SEO meta.
