    Hi again!
So you just want me to write the same thing on the other forum?

I already filled all the empty boxes on the website, so not sure what can I send you πŸ™ I gathered all information, posted screnshots etc.

I understand you may need more information, I’m always worried when I have to send so much information about tech side of my website, but I sent the email (with url) to [email protected] with the url you asked for πŸ™‚

I asked the person who gets the message to forward it to you. I also included address of this thread so support knew why I am sending this email.

I am using version 3.2.26, so it was up to date when I’ve been posting the thread.
If by template you mean WP theme, then no, it’s The Automobile Version: 1.0.8.
    Wodpress version: 5.3.2.

If you mean the widget look – no, it’s how it is in the plugin, however I changed one icon with css as I wrote here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/no-version-icon-widget/
The problem with no info in the package size box was present before I used the mentioned CSS from the other thread.

I would like to avoid upgrading WP and all plugins, WPDM used to show the package size properly even on older versions of WP and theme.

If you need more information, links, I would rather know where such information could be sent, I dislike sharing all website details in public posts πŸ™‚

Anyway, it’s weird, becaue everything used to work well before the update and I am starting to regret updating the plugin…

You don’t get me. When I publish a NEW file, the space remains blank:
    https://postimg.cc/XZYfg6db

I have to fill the package size manually, otherwise it stays blank:
    https://postimg.cc/rKgzN0JD

Before the update, once I published a new download, the package size would just show the file size and I never had to write it on my own.

Even if I update the package, the package size remains blank – it stays like that until I write write package size on my own. And it used to be automatic, it never required me to write the size on my own, the plugin used to fill that box on its own.

As in the other thread, I am unable to record, but I’ll do my best to help to describe the problem:

I am creating a new download. I have the name for the download, the description, I set the page template etc. Then, I upload the file:
    https://postimg.cc/QKTprNfZ

However, I have to set package size manually:
    https://postimg.cc/DJDqD4dc
The box on that one is already filled, after I uploaded the file is was empty.

That information on the package size is normally displayed among other package information – like here:
    https://postimg.cc/62TrYfR3

Now, before the update, once I uploaded the file, I didn’t have to fill the box on the picture number 2, because if I left it empty, it would automatically be filled with actual package size from picture number 1 and everything would show properly.

After the plugin update (I updated it after like 6 months) I have to fill the “package size” manually, because otherwise the spaces marked on pictures number 2 and 3 will remain empty, they won’t be filled autmatically.

It’s a bit annoying, nothing plugin-breaking, but it was really great that if left blank, these spaces would just be filled automatically by the plugin itself.

Hi! I am unable tu record it right now and I actually fixed it locally, but I’ll leave more information as perhaps that’s going to help to improve the plugin or will help someone to fix the problem locally.

I am using WPDM Packages Info to show DOWNLOAD button and file information. In the widget properities I ticked box next to “Version” to make sure it’s displayed among other stuff like upload date etc. However, that icon wasn’t showing, there was only “Version:” text and no icon was displayed before the text.

I noticed the image was reffering to “fa-layer-group” css. I also noticed, all other icons are defined by “fontawesome.css”. So, I checked “fontawesome.css” and I couldn’t find “fa-layer-group”. So, to fix it locally I used this custom css code to change the icon:

    .fa-layer-group:before{content:”\f1b2″}

I know this changes the “layer-group” icon to “cube” (https://fontawesome.com/v5.15/icons/cube?style=solid)

My guess is that the original icon was supposed to be “layer-group” ( https://fontawesome.com/v5.15/icons/layer-group?style=solid ), but it just wasn’t showing properly.

Here is a screenshot of the icon that I fixed locally:
    https://postimg.cc/bGs21N1c

    The circled place was showing empty space before I used .fa-layer-group:before{content:”\f1b2″}

As I said, I am happy with the solution I came up with for my page, but perhaps that’s something worth a small investigation πŸ™‚

    Cheers!

Ok, thank you! You’re the best!

Hi! @shafayat-alam – Correct me if I’m wrong… but that wasn’t implemented after all, right? I don’t see version info option in the package information widget, right?
