In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error cause nginx headersHi,
yes, thanks this one works!Keep the good work up.
Cheers.
AndreStandard WP, import XML file is pointing to correct file URL but import plugin misses to import a .swf file from theme framework demo content.
Hi,
everything works great with this htaccess code.
On typing the www. and none-www url in browser it is forced to https automatically. In the case that the plugin developer follows Your suggestions, I hope that on a plugin update of wordrpress https the two codings dont conflict with each other.
Thanks again, AITpro.
Cheers.
AndreP.S.: FYI: The google font problem wasnt causing this issue, according to the theme framework develpers. It is a bug that is older and not has been corrected by google, since. One has no influence on this.
Hi Edward,
thanks for entering the ticket.
I fixed the ico link, but this alone doesnt solve the problem. Now I have involved the people from theme framework, because the fonts are implemented over their eidtor tool. Maybe we can sort it out first this way, before changing htaccess.Hi,thanks for your post.
Sure it does, as stated above, the WHOLE website is running correctly on SSL as soon as you surf it and click the first link.
This is the site http://www.invivo-group.de
The only problem I have, is, that after entering the URl in the browser, there is no https force.
It just doesnt change the adress.
Take a look when You visit the link. nothing will happen, as long as You dont click on the logo or on a menu link. ONLY THEN, on a click, the https exists. You know?
Normally, you type in http://www.mydomain.com and when everything is correct, it will automatically change to https://www.mydomain.com.
Right? Why isnt this the case here?
Am I missing anythign in the htaccesss maybe? To say it otherwise:
When I enter the domain name with www or without, it stays www or wihtout, but NO HTTPS automatically appears, UNTIL I click any links on the page.
So, the page is secure generally.I want to know, why ONLY typing in the domain name doesnt force a https to get infront like on many other pages I see …
Furthermore I got a StartSSL cert running, the free version.
Is it normal? For a small cert? Or is anything missing in WP or htaccess settings?
no, sorry.
My only question is:
Why, when entering the URl, http://www.mydomain.com there is NOT HTTPS DIRECTLY???I mean, the http://www.domain.com STAYS http://www.domain.com instead of being forced to https://www.domain.com…..
Anything not understood of my question?
Although this is a quick dirty solution I would now go on and move the PIWIK installation to a sub directory of mydomain.com, away from myPIWIKdomain.com
like mydomain.com/piwik
because StartSSL certificates cover anything beneath the domain (but not sub-domains, for which a wildcard-cert would be needed)
I think, through this action, I would handle the problem in EVERY case, cause then I could have PIWIK run under SSL also, with the same certificate. But … that wouldnt explain the (IMHO) curious behaviour

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] HTTPS WordPress Plugin strips font and hides widgetHi, sadly it didnt work for me.
The fonts are located in a subfolder of the theme like /wp-content/uploads/dottoro/web_fonts/ARIALN/ARIALN.woffAnd I tried to add a secure filter for it like (.*).ttf also didnt work and like ^(.*).ttf which didnt work either.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, this plugin helped me out: http://ithemes.com/codex/page/Fix_Non-SSL_Elements_on_SSL_Page#Solution_.232
at the bottom. But it only can be kind of a short hand fix, cause I would not like to use another plugin to fix an existing plugin…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] [Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Unable to load fontsyes, I would definetely vote for wordpress-https being able to load fonts that are imported also secure…
But where exactly and how did You add the fix???

In reply to: [Widget Logic Visual] Widget Logic Visual not working with 3.5@akivadude
But this is what is written up there already…
Where was Your problem? You have to subsitute %i% with XXX
and THEN changes in the .js fileForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Widget Logic Visual] Widget Logic Visual not working with 3.5Works with 3.5.1 here too. Thank You very much.
Why not add the fix to a new plugin update?I have the problem, that any time I change an access setting for any administrator, I have to deactivate and uninstall the aam plugin completely.
Only when installed again the especial administrator can see the dropout menu for access manager. So…
I consider this error still for a user who was setup BEFORE wordpress and plugin updates.
So, the system now runs WP 3.5.1 and AAM version 1.6.8.3
But the administrator user was set up before WP 3.5 and before AAM 1.6.8.1 and it still ha no possiblity to get into the accessmanager
Any solutions available?
Cheers.
