In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] MailerLite Add-onHI there,
We don’t currently. But I added your feedback to our public feedback channel. Would you mind adding your insight to that post for us? We’d love to hear what makes MailerLite great for your purposes and a good match for GiveWP.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] donate form in popHi there,
I’d have to see the error in order to speak to that more clearly. But this tutorial goes into detail on how you can trigger our built-in popup anywhere on your website:

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Translate addonsHi @brighella
If you have the plugin on your website, then I’d suggest you install this plugin to download the add-on as a ZIP file:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/download-plugin/Would you mind also letting me know what premium theme you are using that packaged our addons? We don’t currently have any agreements with any theme authors that allow for that, but I’d be happy to reach out to them to discuss it for sure.
Thank you!
Hi there,
The doc you linked to is for our new Multi-form Goal shortcode/block. But we also have a
give_totalsshortcode which does allow for percentage-based goals. See here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/give_totals/So, there are now 3 different ways to showcase your form(s) progress:
- Multi-form Goals — a more stylized way to show progress of a group of forms.
- give_totals — a more simple but very flexible way to show progress of one form or many forms, with text and/or a progress bar.
- give_goals — to show the progress of one form as a progress bar anywhere throughout your site.
Thank you!
Hi Roy,
Yes, you can use shortcodes to embed your forms anywhere throughout your website. Here’s our docs on the Forms shortcode:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/give_form/Thanks!
Hi there,
For the
{offline_mailing_address}tag, you can change that yourself in “Donations > Settings > Emails > Contact Information”Regarding the other email tags, it really still depends a bit on which you need specifically. Most are not meant to be edited really, but they hold instead dynamic information about the donor or donation itself. But some, like the mailing address, are meant to be customized in the admin settings somewhere. This is a list of our current email tags:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/settings/emails/email-tags/Thanks!
PDF Receipts tags are different from email tags. This snippet shows you how to create a custom PDF Receipt tag:
https://github.com/impress-org/givewp-snippet-library/blob/master/add-on-snippets/pdf-receipts/add-custom-tags.phpBut since that is a premium add-on, please reach out via our priority support channel:
https://givewp.com/priority-supportWe can help you best there.
Thanks!
HI there,
The best would be to use the hook
give_checkout_error_checksWe have a sample snippet here that shows how you can do custom field validations:
https://github.com/impress-org/givewp-snippet-library/blob/master/form-customizations/validate-donation-amount.phpThanks!
HI there,
I was able to fill out the donation form with test info, and get to the PayPal payment screen with no problems at all:

So the good news there is it seems you are able to accept donations! That’s what’s MOST important.
Regarding bulk deleting test donations, the best way to do that is with a built-in Tool we’ve implemented. Go to “Donations > Tools” then click on the “Data” tab. There you’ll see a dropdown with a list of tools you can run. One of them says “Delete all Test Data”. Run that.

Ideally that will work better than the bulk actions tool.
If that doesn’t work, please let me know what errors you encounter. In this case the Query Monitor info is not particularly helpful, but error messages are for sure.
Hi there,
I see that 24 display after you click on the “Mehr Anzeigen” button just as you described.
My first suggestion would be to look at the 5 donor that are missing and see if there’s anything unique about their donations. Are they all on a specific form, or where they done while you had GiveWP in Test Mode?
Next I would carefully review your shortcode. Can you provide the full shortcode for me here? If you’re using the Block instead, can you provide a screenshot that shows all the settings of that block?
Thanks!
We have been in touch on this item via our support channel, so I’ll close this for now. Please reply to your support email if you continue to have trouble. Thank you!
HI there,
Unfortunately I cannot help you with a third-party purchased theme. I would suggest you reach out to the theme author and specifically mention that the conflict seems to be related to the iFrameSizer Javascript library, and ask how their could be dequeued.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Paypal GatewayWe’ve seen various errors with folks trying to connect to the PayPal Donations gateway, and at this point all issues point toward something on PayPal’s side. We are working closely with PayPal to resolve these issues, and figure out what’s going on, but as I said, the issues are all on PayPal’s side at this point.
Here’s what has worked for some folks:
It seems that using an incognito browser somehow aids in making the connection. So try logging into your WordPress site in an incognito browser and see if that connects without issue to PayPal.If you are still unable to connect even when connecting with an incognito browser, we’d like to gather a bit more information about what’s going on, and have set up a special form to gather that information. Please fill out this form as completely as possible: https://givewp.com/paypal-onboarding-reports/
We’re also tracking issues connecting to PayPal on this feedback, and I’ve added your comments as an internal comment for our team to see: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/paypal-donations-fails-to-connect
Here’s how we’d recommend interfacing with PayPal on this, in addition to us sending along that information. Send them a support request with the following:
Greetings!I am trying to connect my PayPal account to the GiveWP plugin for WordPress. I have gone through the onboarding process to connect my account, but when I finish I’m given the following message from GiveWP:
(insert the error messages you are seeing)Please help me resolve these account errors so I can begin accepting payments via PayPal on GiveWP.
As soon as we know anything more, we’ll pass it along!
Thanks!Forum: Plugins

HI there,
If you have the REST API option, then you are a customer. We can give you much quicker and more effective support via our priority support channel:
https://givewp.com/priority-supportIn the interim, PayPal Standard is very simple and only needs your email address in the settings to work perfectly. But you might also consider upgrading to our new PayPal Donations platform. PayPal is deprecating PayPal Standard and all other APIs in favor of their new “Commerce” platform, which is what we use for PayPal Donations.
Either way, reach out to our team and we’ll get you resolved in no time.
