 * Sorry, I should have explained better.
 * I have email via a different provider, but a domain registered with WordPress
   for the website. I wish to push all emails to the WordPress domain to my own
   email (forwarding). However, that option is not available to me.
    The reason
   that the option is not available to me is that I registered via WordPress for
   GMail. However, I did not like it and cancelled the subscription. Something has
   not told the WordPress site that I no longer have GMail and I am told to manage
   my emails through GMail which I no longer have. I need that “resetting” so that
   I can use forwarding again.
 * Hope that’s better!

 * For the EU cookies law is really governed by PECR. However, your points are well
   made.
    Personally I want a website that drops no cookies at all, or at worst
   essential only. If I can’t get WordPress to do this, then I will have to look
   at alternative site providers, which is a shame.
