I think you have the same issue I have, the update system needs to write to a directory and if its not there it isnt able to make it so it fails.
If you can FTP into your server you can make the folders etc, but then like me you might have to change the permissions on all the relevant files and thats a faff and I haven’t managed to do them all yet….

So far I have been through about 80 or so files doing this and still I have more to go.
The old plug in was much easier than this !!!
Is the easiest way just to FTP in and copy the new files over the old ones ?
