In regards to notifications, this is something that we are examining internally to support.

Losing chat session while navigating on a Website (on 3CX mode) is definitely at least disturbing.
I would like to assure you that we are working toward the direction of fixing this.
More and more features will come in the future on our chat plugin so stay tuned !!

Your agents and the chat itself is in online state or offline.
Now on offline state we do not have form, but a conversation approach. Those automated messages will trigger notifications for new messages the same way as they are triggered on online state.

This is exactly the case that is mentioned on our blog post as known issue.It will be available the functionality on the next major release of the PBX.

One approach is to have it in the page, but that specific div element that includes the chat component to be hidden at all the time, and enable the visibility when you trigger it via your custom action.
To achieve this you will need some kind of Javascript + CSS

This option is deprecated as more features are coming that will fit better on bubbled style. One example is greeting message.
We are considering to be added a minimized style that will fit on the side panels of the screen. This is under consideration though.
We are open to feedback if you would like to provide some ideas.

Custom fields is available only if you are configured on “Standalone – No 3CX” mode.
To configure the custom fields you have to go to Live Chat > Tools > Custom Fields
