In reply to: virtue login/register page???As of now(without changing anything), product permalink base is set as default, and common settings is set “post name”.
I don’t think it changes anything if I change common setting to default.

In reply to: virtue login/register page???why?
permalinks default was overridden?
I did not do anything about permalinks.
Was it overridden because I used other theme first?
And that resetting will provide me with login page automatically without me having to edit anything?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???faceslikeyours.com
I just started so it is messy. Please bear with me. 🙂There was “my account” on the menu but I deleted because I saw “product pages”(changed the name to product) has “your account”.
So the login page should go for “your account” under product as of now.
But I am thinking of putting “my account” on the menu(deleting your account under the product). And if so, the login page goes with my account.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???on my account page under the product.
or on my account page without parent.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???I created the child folder under the theme content, and created the css file under that child folder( style.css).
There are a few things I need to add like sticky topbar, for one.
I haven’t copied it into the file yet, as i wanted to see if it worked, first.
There is no other file under that child folder, as of now, except style.css.Am I copy template file in that child folder and put the code line you gave me?
If so, where in that file?
And where can i find that template file to copy from?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???where?
in my style.css under child theme folder?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???i am reading it now.
so walk through with me here.
I am novice on coding.
I see wp_login_form() is located in wp-includes/general-template.php.
And then what?
What do I do with that form in php file?
What I should add to where?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???oh so if the login/register page is part of wp by default, how do I make them appear on my site?
That was my question all along. 🙂Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???Another question.
I know how to make the top bar sticky.
I’d like to know how to make header(that has logo and primary menu) part sticky so that it does not scroll up.And i’d like to know how to give special effect(snow falling) on the page.
Thanks!!!

In reply to: virtue login/register page???It is ecommerce(wp ecommerce) and woocommerce and they don’t come with login/register page by default?
I can hardly think that would be the case???I created pages on the theme that did not support ecommerce, and then I switched to virtue, and then I don’t see stuff that others (who started from virtue from the beginning) have on their pages, it seems…
How do i restart it all from the beginning, as if I never installed wp and virtue before?

In reply to: virtue login/register page???so, I can set up the menu structure only after publishing them as public?
The pages are not finished, yet I wanted to see how it looks like on the whole.
But I cannot do that while I am editing(thus not made it public) the pages?
I can hardly think that the developer made it that way?
Maybe I was not clear on my question?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???esmi, to clarify, I was talking about building a login/register page on my ecommerce web site.
I cannot find that page to set up on the menu.
How to set up the login/register page for members to login to my web site to buy stuff?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: virtue login/register page???And one more question.
If I mark “private” on the page, it does not show up on “page” under “edit menu”, so I cannot arrange them in the menu structure.
Is it supposed to be like that?
Thanks in advance!
