WP AutoTerms

We’re aware of the error. The warning message is related to WP 6.7+ versions but the latest plugin version is tested up to WP 6.5.5.
This warning message is being fixed now and it would be part with the next plugin version we’ll release.
In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, you can try to update the wp-config.php to make sure WP_DEBUG is set as false:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);Hello!
Please send an email to [email protected] with the full error log, website page URL and a couple of screenshots to determine when the error triggers.
That said, is this related to WP AutoTerms plugin? The plugin does not support translations, and the error message is not very clear if the error is coming from this plugin or the theme.
Hi there! First of all, my apologies for the late reply here. We didn’t receive the email notification on this email thread.
You can send in the debug log over to [email protected]. It would also help to get a full page screenshot with Developer Tools > Console tab opened. The linked GDrive screenshot suggests a possible plugin conflict.
@ssgconline Can you please send us a couple of screenshots & the website URL to [email protected] to troubleshoot this?
@swinggraphics Thank you for your feedback! Our apologies for the typo, it looks like it’s coming from an update we recently did on the professional policy.
We’ll fix the formatting issue across all policies in the plugin in the next version.
We’ve updated the plugin after testing it with the latest WordPress versions. The update should be pushed quickly.
We’re in the final stages of our next major update, 3.0. We’re updating the list of legal pages to add additional legal provisions content based on recent changes (i.e. GDPR, CCPA etc.) and integrating a free cookie consent (not just a notice tool).
Hi there! I think there’s a confusion here. The links added at the bottom is through the Links to Legal Pages kit and the links are the links to the legal pages you created. That’s a best practice to integrate: always have the links to legal pages.
This kit can be disabled from Compliance Kits.
Hi there!
Currently, WP AutoTerms is not a certified CMP. We’re working adding this functionality in future versions.
@nseeger Thanks for submitting this report.
WP AutoTerms uses it’s own Legal Page Category Archive template which you can change simply by duplicating
archive.phpand renaming it asarchive-wpautoterms_page.php. This allows you to have a different design for the legal pages. If the issue is that GeneratePress “selects” the WP AutoTerms archive template instead of the theme’s archive template, we’d like to troubleshoot this in-depth. It may be a GeneratePress configuration issue, code issue or WP AutoTerms issue.
If you still use the plugin, please:
- Send us a bug report from WP AutoTerms > Help > Send us a message with the “Extended” option selected so that we can get the plugin versions you have to replicate this
- Screenshots from your website where the issue appears to properly pinpoint it.
Got it.
For anyone that visits this support thread, below are a couple of notes to keep in mind.
We’d recommend getting in touch with us from WP AutoTerms > Help > Contact us with the “Extended” option selected in order to replicate this and troubleshoot it.
## Exclude WP AutoTerms specific JS files
The below JS files loaded by WP AutoTerms should be excluded if you use plugins such as SG Optimizer, WP Rocket.
/plugins/auto-terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy/js/base.js /plugins/auto-terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy/js/wpautoterms.js## Disable the plugin(s) noted in Developer Tools > Console
For example, if a plugin uses TinyMCE, try to disable that plugin and see if the error persists.
## Plugins up-to-date
Make sure your plugins are up-to-date.
Thanks!
Hello!
Please send us a message from WP AutoTerms > Help > Contact us with the “Extended” option selected in order to replicate this and troubleshoot it.
It may be from the theme or some plugin being used.
The following scripts should be excluded if you’re using SG Optimizer or some caching plugins:
/plugins/auto-terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy/js/base.js /plugins/auto-terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy/js/wpautoterms.jsKindly send us a message to get a better picture of the error here.
Hello. Yes, go to Compliance Kits – Links to Legal Pages and disable that kit.
Hi there,
The license can be purchased from within a WP installation site. Simply install it via WP Plugins and then go to License tab to start the process.
@diogoazevedo90 Thanks for the feedback. At the moment, the plugin is not translated in Portugues as noted in the plugin’s description & files.
Is the Registration No. paragraphs added through WP AutoTerms Compliance Kit, maybe Links to Legal Pages? You can go to WP AutoTerms > Compliance Kits > Links to Legal Pages to verify. If so, you can update it from there.
If not, it’s most likely from your theme and/or Elementor. You can check in Appearance > Themes > Widgets > Footer maybe or go to Elementor configuration.
