 * Thank you for your assistance on this.
 * We wanted to provide an update that the issue has now been resolved. After further
   investigation, we found that it was not related to your plugin. Instead, the 
   behavior was caused by a separate anti-fraud plugin that was marking the orders
   as cancelled.
 * Once we adjusted that configuration, orders started processing normally again.
