Thank you for your reply @zorem. I’m not using any plugins for aliexpress dropshipping. I’m building a store that would route some orders to aliexpress so I need to include their tracking # onto the woocommerce orders. But I do see the supplier use aliexpress standard shipping as a trackable option and some cainiao shipping as cheaper non-trackable options. So I wonder if AST’s Cainiao is good enough for the trackable Aliexpress Standard Shipping?
Hmm. I thought it would be next to impossible that such a major plugin would not support the most prominent ecommerce shipper. So I suppose the trackable cainiao options are really one and the same as Aliexpress Shipping? Can you or someone else confirm?

I understand Sumit will eventually get to this but I was eager to make it work so I decided to look at his code. I put in a one line change in my site and it should be working. You can find my solution here. https://github.com/5um17/wp-extended-search/issues/14 – I can’t guarantee it doesn’t break other stuff for you – I’m not a wordpress developer. Check it out.

I can put in a github pull request but frankly I’m not a php developer so I don’t have a proper dev environment to make sure it passes all the test. Please let me know. I’m going to provide this quick fix to the other wp user who asked for the same on this forum.
