I think i did not state my question clear enough. I want the main page to be a static page. i will just create a page and set it to that. I want to create a link that will go to a page that lists the 5 most recent posts. so essentialy i would like to use the static frontpage option (but not on the front page). hope that makes sense, if i need to be any clearer please just let me know.
