Hey there thanks for your contact.

Just to clarify the bug you are talking about is the url changing from “https://www.saveatrain.com” to “https://saveatrain-12e85.kxcdn.com”?

If so that is a usual behavior of CDN. The idea with CDN is to take part of your site or the whole site and load them from the closer server to the current viewer which means the URL can change depending on the CDN you are using.

The only control I have is over what my plugin output to the page. So if you turn off the CDN enabler and you see that the code is different from what submitted let me know and I will be happy to check it out.

But as long as the code changes coming from CDN or different plugin it’s not something I have control over and the only ones who can fix it are the CDN providers and you should try and contact them if there is a problem.

    Hey it doesn’t show it,

I have the option of “purge this page” but it doesn’t show “purge all cache” like it show on the back end.

Checked it on few different websites and with the latest version

    Hey thanks for your answer,
I do think that is that code is the reason google show the date.

On the page itself i don’t have any other code that show the date and when i was able to remove that code in the past the date was remove as well from google results.

I am a developer myself i don’t need to contact one and i was able to find a way to overwrite your code from within my theme so i guess i will wait a week or two and see which one is right.

Thanks for the help and i have to say this is a great plugin so appreciate the sharing.

Sorry to hear that but unfortunately unless i know what the error is i don’t think i can fix it.

When you deactivate the plugin does the website start working again?

You can try and make sure your wordpress, theme and other plugins are updated. And you can try and deactivate the other plugins and see if the problem comes when one of the plugins and mine are working together.

If you are using some kind of cache plugin try and refresh the cache as well as that might fix the problem.

Hey Marcel thanks for your detailed date.

I think that error is coming from one of your other plugins or the theme itself loading data for some reason before my plugin while the shouldn’t.

I have tried to recreate your error but wasn’t able to so i have tried to make a small change on the plugin hoping it will fix it for you.

I have released version 1.1.6 please try the update the plugin and let me know if that fix the problem or not.

    THanks

Hey, sorry about the late reply for some reason i didn’t get a notification about your post. Unfortunately sorting by ID doesn’t seems like something many people will need so for the time being i don’t think that something that will be added.

If i will get more requests like this in the future i might add it on one of the updates. For the time being you have the option to sort the pages by names or dates and normally sorting by the date will also sort the pages ID as well and fix your problem.

Hey, thanks you for the reply appreciate that,

Is there some kind of a way to work around it or the only answer is that it’s not working outside posts and pages?

Does loading your shortcode from the .php files instead of the widgets will fix the problem or will have the same problem?

No worry appreciate the help anyway,
It was posted on “developing with wordpress” and seems like someone moved it here for some reason and adjusted my post as well.

I was trying to build a plugin of my own and not to create a custom 404 page or do what i need with another plugin.

I was able to find a way to do that.
    Thanks anyway
