I resolved it last time by deactivating and reactivating the plugin – will post if it happens again.

OK, I found the issue – my site isn’t using that meta tag (it uses twitter:site). I’m looking into how to add “twitter:creator”, but you may consider using twitter:site if twitter:creator isn’t present.
