It works only on parent product but not on variations. Your plugin us not able to map variation gallery probably. This gallery is the part of variation attributes table .

I understand, But I am using this plugin https://woocommerce.com/products/products-by-attributes-variations-for-woocommerce/ . and it creates single product from variation products with own variation product galleries. Does your plugin supports also this single products artiffically created from variations?
