Fatal Error Allowed Memory Size Exhausted
-
With a recent update, my website crashed and I’m getting this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /…[redacted]…/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2320
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
I’ve received this error before and I’ve already bumped up my memory size, so I’m sure that’s not the issue.
So, I started disabling plugins and found that consistently and immediately after reinstalling and activating woocommerce, this message happens. The only way to fix it is to delete the plugin. It seems like there’s some automation happening right when woocommerce installs that my website doesn’t like, so it crashes.
I suspect part of the issue has to do with the fact that I migrated my database from one webserver (hosted at quantpsych.net) to my current one (simplistics.net). I’ve had a problem with that in the past (it had something to do with cron jobs. If I remember right).
Any ideas how to fix this? I have thought about doing a fresh WP install, but then I’d have to recreate the entire website, which I’m not too keen on.
