No, this is not the wanted behavior. Where do you see that number? Can you share a screenshot?
It is on the “statistics” page for each edition. I have posted screenshots at http://www.ctvknox.org/stefano/
Thanks!

Hi, I checked few blogs and the report different totals for different emails. Are you sure you didn’t imported a list of subscribers while the newsletter were still in sending status? And the subscriber has not been added to the list of recipients under processing?
Yes I am sure. So far we have published 4 biweekly issues. Every time we send a new issue, the number of “Total Sent” statistic for each previous issue is INCREASED to the same number as the “Total Sent” for the most recent issue.
Uhm, I have not an explanation, actually. When an issue is in the “sent” status, you keep it in that status? Do you restart it or like?
Are the old issues in the sent status? Maybe they’re still in another status? What can you see in the newsletter list panel?
All previously sent Newsletters are of “sent” status. I have updated screenshots for you to see at http://www.ctvknox.org/stefano/
As you can see, “Total Sent” for issues 1, 2, & 3 have continued to increase.

Ok, now I probably understood the problem. Did you edited the already sent newsletter resaving them? Resaving a “sent” newsletter result in a wrong update of the total. I already fixed that an you’ll get all value recomputed on next Newsletter version.
BINGO! I think you may have SOLVED the dilemma. Indeed, I have gone back, edited and saved previously published issues. Even though I have NOT resent them, I HAVE edited them.
The reason I edited them was because I had improved the format over the first 3 issues and wanted them all to look consistent if called upon from my Archive page.
So, am I correct to understand that version 4.5.6 has been fixed so the “Total Sent” number for each issue will NOT change if the previously sent newsletter is revised and saved, but not re-sent?
On next version not only that problem is fixed, but the numbers will be restored to their correct value.
Thanks for all your help!
Kev
