    Hey Michael,

Saw your blog post about revamping the UI and was pretty interested in checking it out. I work at an agency, and remember checking out the plugin in the past, but decided to roll our own plugins for post types because of the UI issues in the old version.

I just downloaded the new version and here’s what I can tell you –

    1. On activating the plugin, I noticed there’s a new left sidebar menu called “CPT UI”. This should be either inside the Tools or Settings menu, not in it’s own menu item. My clients have no idea what this is, nor should they once their site is built for them. It can happily live under Tools or Settings where other advanced setup stuff goes. This is a full-stop for most agencies looking to use your plugin.

    2. I clicked on the CPT UI menu item and I’m brought to what looks like an advertisement page. This is confusing, because it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with making custom post types. At this point, I would deactivate the plugin, and never use it again.

I think if you can resolve these 2 issues you’ll have a much better conversion rate for downloads turning into users.

    The BenchPresser

    1. This is something I’ve left as is from the previous versions, truth be told. I’m also not sure if I want to move it into a submenu of its own because it has its own submenu items as well. Perhaps in a later version tha 0.9.0 I’ll look into it, and see what I can come up with for a solution to that, but I am leaning towards leaving it as is for this next release. Good feedback.

    2. Also good feedback, and one I’m not afraid to keep working on. This is another spot that was carried over a bit from the previous version, and probably is the weakest spot as well. I’ll mull over this one and see what I come up with as a possible solution.
