Committed 2.1.2. This work was done before this post but please let me know if the problem persists.
On the back-end the images shown in the quotes list tab are simply the original image. On the front-end it could be the original or made round. Introduced round image and quote alignment options in 2.1.0. Not sure if this is what you are seeing or not.
If the problems persist, let me know what short-codes you are using and if you could provide a little more context about the difference in the plugin from what actually shows up on the final production page?
Thanks!
Committed 2.1.3. If you are able to test and let me know that would be great! Thanks!
Sorry we had a family medical emergency and i just had to put things down. give me a few days and i will get the details on the issues to you. Thanks.
I do appreciate your input and please take your time. I hope you are doing well soon. I Committed 2.1.4 which will hopefully better address this issue.
Best Wishes.
I have had a number of issues and I appreciate you working on them. As I remember the issues they were:
Release 2.1.1 my images suddenly stopped sizing to the correct dimensions, which was subsequently fixed.
Release 2.1.2 things just seemed to go haywire. The WISIWIG in Elementor did not work and what I created did not relate to what showed up on the published page. If I had more than one or more quotes on a page, it went into some strange loop and my page loads suddenly went as long as 15 seconds. I ran some diagnostics, and it identified this plugin as the issue, so I just had to deactivate its use for now. I tried both the Elementor and the shortcode methods of using the plugin and the same problems were there.
Another challenge, and why I settled on the shortcode in a text box, is that you cannot get the quote font to match your other work without some way of specifying the font. The only way around that I could find was to use the shortcode within a text box.
I like to have three quotes on a page when I present them and did not have a problem using the text editor with shortcode in it. But a way to use the [quotes-llama] shortcode with a specified number of quotes might be cleaner. It did work for me just listing the shortcode three times, but that seems to be a sort of junky way to do it.
Because of other conflicts I have not tried any subsequent releases, but will once I have time.
Thanks and hope this helps.
I had a few minutes and retested with the three buried in a text box. All seems to work without slowing page loads.
If I have one suggestion it would be on placement of the quote author. It apparently is placed at the bottom of the working space and when you have multiple quotes it is difficult to separate them visually.
I tried doing three separate text boxes, but there you run the danger of quotes duplicating themselves.
You can see the spacing issue here https://pillarsoftherepublic.com/
Thanks

I will mess around with this idea and see what I can come up with. I think it would look nicer all around to accomplish this. I will let you know when I get somewhere with it. Thanks!
Committed 2.1.5 It addresses the quote author placement. It should now display under the quote instead of the quote box. Let me know how it works?
I’ve made note of the font and displaying a specified number of quotes. I’ll see what I can do.
