Hello tripwinego, thank you for using Yasr.
This is pretty strange: did you also tried in an incognito window?
Do you have any log file?
Just tried the incognito window, no luck. The error message I get when editing a post:
Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.
Acutally as soon as I re-activate the plugin, the whole WordPress backend becomes very slow even just click around, and the speed back to normal after I deactivate it. Again, the frontend is not affected. Only when I submit a Yasr review, I notice the submission is very slow, which led me to start suspecting the Yasr plugin.
May I know where I can find the log file?
Also, if I delete and reinstall the plugin, will I lose all the Yasr data?

1) About the log file, please read this https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug_log
2) No, you can remove and install again, data and settings are still saved
Can you please try to access to this page YOURSITE/wp-admin/admin.php?page=freemius and try to delete all caches in there?
Then, when it asks to opt-in, choose no, and let me know
Just want to provide some updates on this issue, it is still not fixed.
1. Updated to Version 2.1.4, same issue. To clarify, once the yasr plugin is enabled, the whole backend is very slow, not only when editing the post. The frontend website is fine.
2. I have quite a few of Multi Sets, so I bite the bullet and replaced all Multi Sets with tables, and then deleted all Multi Sets, no luck.
3. YOURSITE/wp-admin/admin.php?page=freemius, it show no permission to run.
4. I have CloudFlare and I disabled CloudFlare, still the same.
5. Turn on the log file requires changing the config file and I hesitate to do so.
Not sure what else I can do.
To close the loop, this issue seems has been fixed in version 2.2, the performance has became better after upgrading to version 2.2.
