Update gives me the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in /.../wp-content/plugins/popup-builder/classes/SGPBExtension.php on line 96

Looks like it’s due to my server having old PHP version installed. Is it possible to get the previous version, as it worked fine for me?

    Thanks!

  • Having this exact problem too. Please advise.

    Dear users,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Seems the PHP version your are using is too old < 5.3 and the error is connected to that. Most of hosting providers have the option to increase the version of the PHP, you only need to contact them, or you can change it via your hosting’s control panel.

We are sorry for any inconvenience but current stable PHP version is 5.6.29 and for our upcoming updates we need PHP version at least 5.3.

    Best Regards,
    Sygnoos Team.

    Hi,

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately we’re unable to update our server PHP version, and not ready to move to another server yet. Is it possible to get the previous version of the plugin?

    Regards,
    Mantas

    Hi Mantas,

Here is the URL https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/popup-builder.2.4.6.zip of the previous version(2.4.6) of the plugin.

To not loose your previous data you need to replace the files or follow the steps bellow.

    1. Go to Popup Builder in your Dashboard
    2. Find “Settings” under the Popup builder
    3. Go to settings and uncheck “Delete popup data” option
    4. Click “Save changes”
    5. Remove your current version of the plugin
    6. Install the version 2.4.6

In a case of any other questions, feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards,
    Sygnoos Team.
