    Hi there,

I have two analytics codes on my site. It’s on the shop page and all the category and product pages. How do I remove the code I’m no longer using? I can’t seem to find it in the theme editor for my site… If I delete the property on the analytics account associated with the code, will that remove it from the site?

Many thanks for your help, Richard.

  • Hi @rd825

I have checked your website and neither the UA code is coming from Analytify. They might be there either from other plugin or from your theme.

Removing the property wont help, You need to contact your webmaster to remove these codes from your site.

    Cheers!

    Hi Asad,

Thanks for your reply and for having a look… I think one of the codes is coming from Analytify. When I disconnect analytify, one of the codes disappears. The problem then is that the code is not on the other pages of the site. I think this has happened because I recently rebuilt my site using a different theme, but I kept the woocommerce product pages and all customer data etc. So it looks like the code is still attached to the original pages.

I don’t have a webmaster to contact unfortunately! I might try re activating my old theme on my staging site, to see if I can then find the original code to delete it…
