    Hello,
I have found that using browser search on page (Ctrl+f) does won’t find a text inside the table when viewing in Admin. That causes difficulties to find specific cell that a user would like to replace or delete in large content tables. – It would be great if you can show each cell link title just by standing on the cell on mouse over on that cell.

Additionally, when trying to create a new cell, the table is already placing the cursor inside the first cell. If you won’t notice that, it will cause you accidentally to run over the data in the first cell, instead of the next empty cell. It would be great if you can put the cursor in the first empty cell on the bottom of the table, or at least, not to put in on the first full cell as default when loading an existing table.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not sure that I fully understand. When I use Ctrl+F to search on the “Edit” screen, text in the table cells is found without problems. Now, if the text “hidden” because of the reduced cell height, it will still be found, but indeed not fully highlighted. Is that what you mean?
And with that suggestion about the title, do you mean that the current cell content should be shown as a tooltip when the cell is hovered with the mouse?

And indeed, when a table is opened for editing, the cursor is placed in the first cell (common spreadsheet software like Excel places it in the last selected cell before closing, but that feels odd to do if multiple users can edit a table). So, I can see that this could cause accidental data entry there, but placing the cursor in the first empty row is likely not a good solution — simply as tables might not have an empty row at the end, unlike an Excel table, which always has one.

    Regards,
    Tobias
