• I am building an e-com site for a client that will be selling some high-risk products that require an alternate payment gateway. Payment gateways 1 & 2 are both Authorize.net through ZenPayments accounts. I found a plugin “Payment Gateway per Category” which seems to allow multiple payment gateways but how do I set up two Authorize.net payment gateways from the same provider?

Will I install 2 Authorize.net plugins or is there one that will allow multiple accounts?

    Hi there,

I am not aware of any payment gateway plugins for Authorize.net that allow for multiple accounts for a single gateway. You’d most likely need to have a solution customized for your specific needs here. If you need help with the customization we have some resources here: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

You may also try using two different Authorize.net plugins and a plugin like Conditional Payments ( https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/conditional-payment-methods-for-woocommerce/ ). Then you could assign each product one of the two gateways, which may work for your needs.

With either of these solutions, you’re going to run into issues when you have a mixed cart though, as you’ll need to figure out what gateway to charge when you have both products in the cart.

Thanks for the quick response. I contacted on of the Authorize.net plugin developers and they can create a custom variation that allows for up to 3 vendor accounts and mixed cart processing by category/tag.

    Hi there,

Great to hear you were able to get this sorted out. We’ll go ahead and mark this resolved at this time.
