• I’ve got a situation where I need new posts and post content updates to go through 2 people’s review before publishing. Is that possible with something like this?

To be clear: basically when someone submits a post for review, we need to have it notify one person (perhaps an editor role?) who will basically proof read it and give their approval. Once that’s done, it needs to go to the web admin for final approval. Is something like that possible with Revisionary (and Role Scoper, if needed)?

  • just a side note.. did you try out Oasis Workflow plugin? – http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/oasis-workflow/

It allows you to setup your own workflows with as many review steps you want. It also sends out an email to the concerned person for review/assignment/publish.

It has a graphical user interface, where you can drag and drop processes to create your own workflow.

The Pro version provides the same workflow support for new revisions without taking the current revision of the post offline.

    Hope that helps.

I’ve installed this and played with it some. Not quite sure I get it entirely, but I think it might work. I’m submitting a query to them directly about some of the specifics of what I need it to do. Thanks for telling me about it! I’m hopeful it will do what I need.

    Thanks for the tip @kulsearch!
