2 Warnings in SoftwareApplication Markup

    We created SoftwareApplication and receiving 2 Warnings as following:
    1. aggregateRating: The aggregateRating field is recommended. Please provide a value if available.
    2. offers: The offers field is recommended. Please provide a value if available.

    The reason behind the 1st warning is because we don’t use star ratings system
    The reason behind the 2nd warning is because website is totally free of cost (Free open source software).

    To remove above 2 Warnings, please give some tips or tricks and if we doing something wrong then let us know.

    Hi Softfully,

    There is nothing wrong with how you’ve implemented the markup. Schema.org by itself doesn’t require any fields ( see https://www.schemaapp.com/features/required-schema-org-fields/ for more information ) but Google does require certain fields to enable their features. Our tools validation rules mostly follow Google’s validation as well, and so it is totally fine not to use recommended fields like aggregateRating. AggregateRatings can also be marked up using any number scale, 1-5, 1-10, or 1-100 as examples. If its anything but 1-5 you include the bestRating (eg. 100) and worstRating (eg. 1)

    For the offers field you could specify free by putting the price 0 and priceCurrency USD.
