2 x Meta Title Tags

Hey,

I hope I’m in the right thread. If not, please move me over to the right one, thanks.

We are using a theme from Kubio (free version) and the plugin Yoast Seo.

We have noticed that the meta <title> of the page is duplicated in the source code. This is of course semi-optimal. Unfortunately, this is the case on the homepage as well as on all subpages.

As soon as I deactivate Yoast SEO, there is only one title tag. I’ve also tried Rank Math SEO, same phenomenon.

I assume the developer of the Kubio theme has forgotten something, because Yoast Seo is somehow standard.

Can someone help me and tell me how to remove the superfluous <title> tag by simple means?

If there is already a solution in another thread, I would also be very grateful for the information where I can find it.
