20% visitors / correct views

    Hi!
    Due to a test-cooperation with Ezoic.com (ads), we had to change our name servers yesterday, since Ezoic is now in the middle.

    Since then, the page views have continued to be counted correctly, but the number of visitors that are counted was less than about 20% today.

    I was told Ezoic works like a proxy server. Can I somehow set that this is taken into account and the visitor numbers are displayed halfway correctly again?

    eg. Visitors September 29th: 6.276 visits | 30.591 views
    Visitors September 30th: 803 visits | 24.281 views

    There’s no cache activated.

    I doubt if the issue relates to the plugin. I guess your clients can’t resolve the new DNS.

    Hi again!

    Well, thanx for reponse. I checked it out:
    caiman.ezoicns.com
    ferret.ezoicns.com
    Everything is green without one in Bangladesh :-). Most visitors come from Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

    Ich bin technisch nicht so versiert, aber wenn der Server von Ezoic.com dazwischen steht, holt der die Daten ab und hat immer die gleiche IP, so dass zwar die Seitenaufrufe stimmen, aber die Besucher nicht mehr gezählt werden. Kann das sein? Daher meine Annahme, dass es am Plugin liegt. Die Seitenaufrufe passen ja, nur die Zahl der Besucher eben nicht mehr.

    This night I watched in the dashboard:
    12.20 a.m: 145 visitors / 365 hits
    12.50 a.m.: 195 visitors / 847 hits
    01.15 a.m: 218 visitors / 1.259 hits
    now – 9 hours later –
    10.30 a.m: 368 visitors / 9.024 hits

    So where a the visitors in the meantime? 🙂
