• Hi guys, I have a problem with the popular 2012 theme which I like for the very clean look and responsiveness. Well, not really a problem, it’s more a visual thing. Subpages of sites, e.g. for some reason have some additional white spacing at the end.

I can’t find the reason, especially since this spacing at the end seems to differ at the end. The pages/posts look normal and it’s not limited to this installation only. Any ideas? Never recognized this behaviors with any other theme. Or am I missing anything obvious?

Do you know if the 2012 theme was modified? There should be some information about the post at the bottom, like when it was published and by whom, contributing to the space. You also have an empty paragraph at the bottom causing some of the white space.

Out of the box and not modified, the theme was installed directly via the wordpress search & install feature.

Thanks for the hint with the empty paragraph!

Do you have a Custom CSS plugin or are you using a Child Theme?

One thing I did notice was a non-breaking space at the end of that post/entry you linked. That causes an extra p element with an empty line and since 2012 add padding to all paragraph elements it does give it quite a bit of empty space.
