Is there really no way to change the time format to 24 hour instead of 12hr am/pm – do I have to hard-code this in the code?

Hi scibuff,

Nope, you don’t need to hard code it. You can change the time settings in your general WordPress settings. Whatever Time Format you set there will carry over to the calendar.
