• Hi

    I’ve updated to the latest Woocommerce version earlier but it made some changes to the website that I didn’t want yet. I’ve used a wordpress plugin to restore a previous backup of my site but it failed at 91%. Now the site is broken and I got the following error on all pages.

    Fatal error: Class ‘WC_Session’ not found in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-session-handler.php on line 18

    I have this on line 18 in the file: class WC_Session_Handler extends WC_Session {

    Hi phb71,

    Your restore didn’t complete? That means you are missing WordPress files and parts of files – which is going to cause a lot of fatal errors most likely, this just being the first of many.

    You need to restore to the last time you had a 100% full site backup.

    It didn’t. So how can I restore it? The restore file is stored somewhere by my backup wordress plugin.

    What backup plugin are you using? You’ll need to get in contact with the plugin authors and ask them how you can run a restore from your backup.

    They should be able to direct you to where the backup is stored, and how to do a manual restore.

    It’s All-in-One WP Migration. I’ve asked them no reply yet. I’ve tried copying the plugin folder from my live site to my local site (this is one is working) but it doesn’t seem to work (the list of backups is still the ones from the local sites).

    If you use FTP to navigate to your live site’s wp-content folder, you should be able to find the backups folder somewhere. Either in it’s own folder, or inside of the plugin.

    If you find it, you can download the full backup and hopefully use it to manually restore you site.
