2.6.1 to 2.62 recent comments problem

Hi all, hopefully someone can help me out.

I upgraded from 2.6.1 to 2.6.2 this morning and it now appears that my sidebar is broken (www.tropical-forests.com)

I get an error in the comments tab of my theme

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mw_recent_comments() in /home/tropical/public_html/wp-content/themes/freshnews/sidebar.php on line 31

I am trying to work out if it is a pure theme error or something connected to the upgrade.

Where is mw_recent_comments function, is that a wordpress function or is it likely to be a theme dependant function? It works in my dev site but on the live one it cant find it! Maybe a file corrupted on the way up to live, but now it wont get past this area and wont load the footer.

Any help really appreciated
