• I upgraded my blog from WP2.1 to WP2.7 and my Digg 3- column theme works except when I go to site admin, my dashboard looks different, like it running a different theme (I don’t see my header and the columns are different).

Can someone please make a suggestion as to what I failed to upgrade.

  • Not quite sure what you mean. I know digg 3 column works with 2.7 and the theme does not affect your Admin Dashboard in any way.

I don’t see my header and the columns are different

Where don’t you see the header or change in columns – in digg theme or your dashboard?

In any case, FTP/re-upload your WP 2.7 and double check that all files and folders have been uploaded. Then run http://yoursitename.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php

When I go to site admin the pages no longer look like digg-3 but rather like the classic/default theme. I will take your advice and reupload 2.7 and check and see what happens. Thanks for being there.

I re-uploaded 2.7 and am having the same problem

Still not clear on what you mean so to clarify – you have the front-end (that’s where you’ll see the digg3 theme layout, then you have the back-end or site admin dashboard.
Do you mean when you log-in as site admin, your front-end layout which is supposed to be digg3 theme transforms to the default theme? Or are you asking why digg3 front-end layout is not implemented in the back-end – because that will never happen.
