2.7 URL Editing – Redirect Loop

    I edited the URL on the following post “Farmer’s Almanac 2008/2009” and it now goes into a redirect loop with the browser timing out.

    I discovered the permissions were too restrictive on my .htaccess file (even though I had changed them 3 months ago). I changed them to 666 and edited the post URL again. I can now view the post using the new (3rd revision) of the url but anyone coming into the original url via google still gets looped.

    Any ideas?

    Hi, I tried accessing your post coming from Google and I get a Page Load Error.

    You might wanna try the Redirect plugin. With this plugin, you can specify the “original” link and provide the link for the new one. Hope this helps.
