2FA ISSUE

    logged into my site yesterday and noticed 2FA was not working so was able to log straight into my website without authentication,on inspection 2FA was showing not active on my user account,so using google auth i rescanned with my phone and follow procedure,
    page showed now activated for me,so logged out to test and still no 2FA auth required,checked user accounts and again showed 2FA not activated,activated 2FA again and instead of logging out went straight to user accounts page,it show not active,my site did update to wordpress 7.3 about 3 weeks ago PHP is 7.2.23 Wordfence is 7.4.1.
    I did try to set up new admin user but same thing happening.
    Please advise

    @kbelectric

    Thanks for writing in about the issue.

    It is possible the changes aren’t saving to the database, or a plugin is conflicting.

    Are you able to try disabling all your other plugins and try adding the 2FA again and logging in and out?

    Also, please send diagnostics to wftest @ wordfence dot com and put your username in the corresponding field. Please let me know here when that is sent.

    I do not see the diagnostics, however, I do see the logs you sent.

    Do you see the Send Report by Email button at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page? If so, please sent that over and let me know when it is sent.

    Thanks for sending that over, and thanks for your patience.

    I do not see anything standing out that may conflict as far as other plugins, however, I do see that you are using what appears to be a custom theme. Can you please test the issue while using a default theme, such as Twenty Nineteen and let me know if it persists?

    Hey @kbelectric,

    Do you happen to have the Grace period to require 2FA or Allow remembering device for 30 days features enabled? You can find them in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.
