2FA Testing – Cannot Login via Private Key

    I’m using 5.2.5 version of the plugin. I enabled 2FA and the feature works great. I attempted to test recovery login via private key and it does not work. I’m not convinced I’m doing it correctly.

    What is the process to log in using private key if one time password is not working?

    Hi

    You can setup account by scanning QR code or adding the Private key

    IF you have setup the account correctly it should give you OTP to enter.

    Private key is used to setup account not to login.

    If OTP does not generated by Google Authenticator app let me know. But generally it is not the case.

    When I I read the description in plugin I thought it was used recovery key, not a setup key.. Thanks for the response.
