I recently activated Wordfence 2FA as a requirement for admins and other manager roles. Multiple users have been able to activate 2FA with no problem. But I have one user that is unable to activate 2FA. They are currently in a grace period. They have tried Google, Microsoft and Authy authenticator apps (new app installations). When they attempt to enter the app provided code, within the time limit, into the Wordfence field just below the recovery codes, the “Activate” button remains greyed out. They are unable to click the button/the button is unresponsive. There are no errors or messages indicating a problem. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

    Hi @afemaleprodigy,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Since this is only happening with one user, this is likely due to a browser extension breaking our JavaScript. Please have them try from a different internet browser where all browser extensions have been disabled — don’t use a private or incognito session.

If they don’t have the same issue in the other internet browser where all browser extensions have been disabled, then see if they still have the issue in their normal browser. If they do, then that indicates a browser extension in their normal browser is breaking our JavaScript.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,
    Margaret
