2nd attempt, WP plugin does not work

    Made a video to show:

    The WordPress plug-in that allows a check-box to subscribe a new user to my website that will ALSO subscribe that user to the Constant Contact email list is NOT WORKING.

    Do you agree it is broken?

    Is this on the developers radar for a fix in the future?

    Any ETA as to how long we’ll be waiting for a fix?

    I’ve asked these questions more than a week ago and are still wondering.

    Watched the video, and I think the detail about it being as part of the registration process may have been missed in the previous thread, and provides us with something to test/chcek with. As opposed to a standard form in a footer or popup. This during registration process is a slightly different area of the codebase.

    So, we will check on that shortly and see what may be going on. Without actual errors to work with, it’s hard to say “yes, we have a fix here for you”, but hopefully with this new information, we can get a better idea.

    Can you confirm if this works for you when using the login version, as opposed to during registration for a new user?

    Thanks for looking into this!

    It worked when a USER is ALREADY a WP User. Checking the check box put the user onto the appropriate email list with Constant Contact.

    Thanks for helping confirm this part, it’s providing some good leads for what we have been thinking since earlier when we dug into this thread.

    If you want, we can get you a hotpatched version of this with the intended changes that we’re working on. Otherwise, we’re hoping to include it in a next big release with 1.9.0. Hopefully that’ll be pretty soon as well.

    This can wait for the next update. No sense in spending valuable time on a hot patch.

    We just pushed out version 1.9.0 which includes the fixes for the registration process.
