2nd Language Stuck

My website is in Brazilian Portuguese and I selected English as 2nd language. The button appears normally but the problem is that I open the site and it is already in English and I try to select BR Portuguese but it doesn’t work. It remains in English. Impossible to change.
Anyone had the same or similar problem? Suggestions?
