- Reel opening at the top of the page
Thanks for reporting this. We are currently investigating this issue to determine whether it is caused by a theme or plugin conflict, or by the reel plugin itself. Our team is actively working on it, and we will review the behavior in detail and get back to you with an update as soon as possible.
- Cover image / poster for reels
Yes, this is absolutely possible. We are already working on an upcoming plugin update where you will be able to set a thumbnail (cover image) for reels. This update will be launched soon, and we will notify you once it is released.
- Closing reels by clicking outside the player
This is a great usability suggestion. We have noted this and added it to our future update roadmap. We will keep you informed when this improvement is implemented.

Thank you very much for the follow up, i think its most likely a clash with the theme, but then there might be more themes so a resolution will be amazing. For all the other areas i can wait.
One last question, in the reel group editing mode, I see the name of the reel category at the bottom, but when fixated on the site i dont see the name of the reel. Was just wondering if thats how its meant to be or possibly another theme clash?

About the reel name:
This is expected behavior, not a bug. The reel category name is shown only in the editor to help with managing reels. On the live site, it’s hidden on purpose to keep the layout clean. This is not caused by your theme. If you’d like the name to appear on the frontend, we’re happy to consider it as a feature request.
About the first issue:
We’ve looked into it, and it seems to be a theme-related conflict where the reel styles are clashing with the theme’s own styling. Our team is already working on this to improve compatibility and provide a proper fix.

Hello, just wanted to add another 2 cents. First the good news is the video is centering now im not sure if its from your end or the theme or maybe it was clashing with another plugin but its resolved.
There seems to be a problem with the layering. So for example if I have two reel groups and you open the reel, the group of the other reels will display infront of the playing reel and its overlay. https://www.fashionghana.com/delete/deletesample1.png
Also another problem I realized is that your overlay actually works as an item. ie. it limits itself to the height and width rules of the frame the reels are in. So in the case of my second group, i added padding to the left and right of the frame to center the reels as there wasnt an aligning option, but unfortunately that also padded the left and right of your overlay. https://www.fashionghana.com/delete/deletesample2.png
For now I will most likely remove the second set of reels just to swiftly proceed, but would look forward to your reply before doing to.
Last but not least this is more of a feature request as you mentioned. I understand sorting it a feature for upgrade, however when you add a new reel to a group it automatically adds it to the very end of the reel. I think this might be disturbing for most people as most (like it is on all social media platforms) would prefer for the reel to be added at the begining of the the group. It would be tedious for people to always have to re arrange reels just to added a new one. Im not sure if its intentionally done to encourage an upgrade which is fine, but if not it might help to reverse or or possibly add a reverse option to the arrangement.
And also would like to know if there was/is any updates on the labeling of reels on the front end. Or even if there is a CSS that could temporarily be used until its updated.

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We are actively working on them, and we aim to resolve them in the upcoming version. Currently, we do not support displaying the Reel title on the frontend, and there is no CSS workaround for this at the moment. If we add this feature in the future, we will be sure to let you know.

- Reel centering and overlay issues are now stable.
- Thumbnails can be added for reels.
- Frontend widget titles are now customizable.
- Reels can be closed by clicking outside the player.
- Titles of reels can now be displayed on the frontend.

Hi Guys. You did an amazing job making the changes, I was more than excited to know. Unfortunately ive now come to find out you took away multiple entries in a reel from the free version, which I believe you have every right to do to encourage people to pay, as you have to make your money. Unfortunately what this means is we are left with a carousel that opens a video file with a timeline bar. Which many people can execute through many normal plugins and even elementor attributes. Even worse, in your settings the work done to open and upload to a reel, then to add a reel to a widget is much work compared to adding a video to a video carousel, so in reverse it will actually be tedious for someone to use your free version. I appreciate the work and im leaning toward purchasing the pro version which is a bit on the high side for us where i am, but if i cant i might have to change the plugin. I know its a job filled with years of experience and i hate to tell someone not to make their money, but maybe you can have a maximum number of reels for the free version, maybe 3 or 5, and then a pro. Just a suggestion.
If you also decide or plan to do any discount offers anytime soon do let me know. But the way, i previously uploaded multiple videos in reel, if i upgrade would they return or are the lists lost from the database?

If you edit an existing reel before upgrading, there is a risk that the reel’s extra videos may be removed from the database. However, if you upgrade first and then edit the reel, your existing data will remain unaffected.
