Hi,

I currently have a redirect chain problem –

http://www.davidashworth.guru/
https://www.davidashworth.guru/

The SSL plugin has installed perfectly it says everything is working but its still flagging up with that on Pingdom?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

This is by design. You can bypass a redirect step, as described here, with explanation why I do it like this:
https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/redirect-non-www-to-www-domains-in-htaccess/

But for security settings like HSTS and HSTS preload it is necessary to redirect in steps.

Thank you Rogier, I’ve done that but it does not seem to make much difference. It was more to try and see if it would speed up the site at all.
