302 Redirect 20+ Seconds Wait from Server with Plugin Enabled
-
We are contemplating updating to Yoast SEO Premium, and are a corporate level multi-million dollar Walk In Tub Company outside of Chicago Illinois.
Currently, we have spent the last 6 days working with our Server team at Liquid Web who have isolated our issues regarding our website update times to your plugin specifically. I have further confirmed the issue.
With your plugin disabled, our product page update time is about 7 seconds. With your plugin enabled, our product page update time is about 55 seconds (or failure 524 after 60 seconds have passed).
I am hoping you have further tools on your end to determine whether or not missing DB tables, conflicting queries/plugins, etc are the cause of this issue. For now, we are forced to disable your plugin which is detrimental to our company.
Hoping for a prompt resolution. Can provide any access or login information needed
When YOAST is enabled and updating a product, our server first creates a request to post.php that takes 27 seconds for a “response” from the server, resulting in a proper 302 redirect (sometimes it does not properly redirect and just forwards us to the post.php page) – prior to updating the page as normal. AGAIN THIS DOES NOT OCCUR WHEN YOAST IS DISABLED.
I understand that I can “disable all plugins and test Yoast on Twenty-X theme alone; yes it works. Sadly, this is not the environment that we operate on (or anyone for that matter). Please note that everything was operable as of 6 days ago… absolutely no issues occured and nothing has been altered since.
Hoping for some further insight before we are forced to swap plugins entirely and bring our business elsewhere. As someone who has used Yoast on 40+ platforms for the past 5 years, I am hoping for an intuitive response.
