I tried the automatic upgrade and got this message when I tried to upgrade the database:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined method dbrc_wpdb::delete() in /home/nirvesh/danwillardmusic.com/blog/wp-includes/option.php on line 370”

I did not do a backup before attempting the upgrade. I read in another post that this upgrade does not affect content so am I safe?

I’m not able to access my wordpress admin dashboard. Any suggestions?

Thank you esmi. I’ve tried to disable my plugins via phpmyadmin (there is no active plugins row in the option name column) and FTP (I renamed the plugin folder to plugin.hold but was still unable to login into my WP dashboard).

Your problem is with the DB Cache plugin, which adds an additional file outside the plugins folder. Look in the wp-content folder for a file called db.php and delete it. Once you’re back, be sure to update the plugin: the working version is at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/db-cache-reloaded-fix/
