• Few days ago I updated to 3.6.1… and everything began to go wrong. First, the whole blog wasn’t accessible anymore. Since I couldn’t enter the admin area, I then copied all of my plugins into a different folder via FTP, and it worked again. Well, more or less, because I am getting blank pages or fatal errors (allowed memory size exhausted), however I cannot reproduce the latter: sometimes it happens, sometimes not (with plugins activated or disactivated). I installed the WP-memory-usage plugin, which says that only 39M of 64M are actually used.

I also tried to overwrite all of my WordPress files (except wp-content) with a fresh installation, but this did not help neither.

Tried to reinstall version 3.6 by overwriting everything except wp-content… but did not help. Am on 3.6 now, still 39M of 64M used.

I now put WP in debug mode and I’m getting those errors:

“Notice: Constant ABSPATH already defined in ~/wp-config.php on line 22

Notice: register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectly. Only a static class method or function can be used in an uninstall hook. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.) in ~/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3012

Notice: add_contextual_help ist seit Version 3.3 veraltet! Benutze stattdessen get_current_screen()->add_help_tab(). in ~/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2871″

No idea of what this means… could anyone help please??

Meanwhile I discovered my problem is called “white screen of death”… however I couldn’t fix it… it’s really frustrating and disappointing that apparently nobody can help me :-/
